I need a new battery for my 03.  Since I'm too lazy to go look and/or research the owners manual, I thought I'd ask here.

What do I need?  Can I go to Wal-Mart and get one or is this a dealer visit thing?

Thanks,

Tom

As per the Triumph manual...

The battery in a 955 is a GS GTX14-BS, 12 volts, 12 Amp Hours.  That's the factory-sealed maintenance-free type.

Screw the dealer.  Batteries Plus or any other battery supplier should have something applicable.

Too much starting it up in the garage and making "vroom, vroom" noises 3Putt?  I hope you've been able to get out and ride that thing!

:) No I haven't been able to start it.  That's the problem.

I did, however, buy a new RT last week and ride it to Dallas and back.  Remember last Monday when the Midwest was having all the bad storms?  I was riding in them all day.

Thanks.  I'll take the battery out and go too Batteries Plus and say I want one of these.  There's one down the street.  I didn't even think of them.
