Quote from: "HappyMan"I tried re-starting it three times yesterday giving it a chance to cool down and once again this morning before I left for work and it was still on so I too my DR into work instead.  I'm still hoping to call the dealer some time today to see if I can get an answer other than you better bring it in.

I've found that starting it up and letting run isn't enough.  I've had to ride it five miles or so.

I rode it home after it came on and there wasn't a change.  I started it up this morning and she's running rough.  I still have a hunch it was bad gas since this happened following a complete fill up.

The dealer couldn't look at my bike until next Tuesday.....of course this weekend is finally warm enough for the other bikers I know to finally go for a ride with me and I'll have to be on my DR650.

I'll update when I find out what the fault ends up being.  I asked the dealer to take care of the off road MAP as long as it was in there and they weren't sure what I was talking about.  I don't have much confidence in dealers and that didn't help. It also took three phone calls to get through to the service department.  The first two calls I was forwarded to service, it rang and rang and then was forwarded back to the operator and it rang and rang and then finally went dead.....did I mention I have little faith in dealers?

Update.

My warranty ended yesterday.....they covered it anyway or supposedly will be covering it.  They said Triumph was one of the best Mfg.s when it came to customer support.

Problem found; TPS.  That explains why it seemed just fine at times but running rough at other times since it was intermittent.  They will replace it and I should have El Tigre back on Thursday.  CAN'T WAIT!!
