When i supermoto'd my tiger got a lot of help from a company in Germany called SBF,they send me their new catalogue every year, blow me if the new one has an hydraulic clutch conversion for the tiger, made by Magura, now as to do you need one or not??? is something else, but's very clever the way it's done.

Sounds interesting - what sort of price is the conversion?

That sounds like an interesting mod, although I have to say...the Tiger's is one of the lightest cable clutches I've come across. I do keep it well lubed though...same as the throttle.
