How does the Truimph top case hook into the luggage rack?

I'm going to be building an aluminum plate to quick-mount to the stock luggage rack as I've found the stock rack has a limited capacity.  I'm wondering if anyone would care to share how the stock Tiger luggage hooks into the stock rack?  I'm looking for more detailed pictures than this one that I found in the classifieds.

Thanks for the help guys!

.....by limited capacity are you talking about the load limit stamped onto the rack?? The Tiger rack is plenty strong, but the lawyers get involved and you have a silly 5kg limit....

How much weight do you think you will put up there?

You're talking about the topcase, not the panniers, right? If so, help me be sure I understand what you are looking for. I have a Givi topbox installed on my '06 Tiger right now and I have a stock topcase sitting on a shelf in the garage so I can give you close up pictures of just about anything you need. Right now, I'm not 100% clear what that is though.

Or, if you want to go deeper (how the tail rack mounts to the frame, etc.) I should be able to scan pages from the service manual - assuming you don't already have one - that show how it mounts

Let me know and I'll be happy to help.

I've got the stock Tiger rack and I'm looking to make some sort of top plate that will carry my camp gear and larger luggage.  This rack will clip onto the stock rack without needing to use screws to physically fasten it to the stock rack.

Above is a link to a rack that my riding buddy made.  I'm looking to do something similar on the Tiger.

there is a u channel or hook that runs across the front underside of the top case that hooks into the front of the rack. The keyed rear, works the same way, but the section that grabs the rear portion of the rack moves in and out to facilitate putting it on and off... pics might be in order

You will have to decide if you want to drill holes in the bottom of your stock topcase to mount to your fabricated plate or whether you can come up with a less intrusive mounting method. But, here is how the tail rack mounts to the frame (hoping this is what you are looking for)

Thanks for the help sanjoh, that's pretty much what I was looking for.  I figured the top box had some rubber/plastic mounting points that fit over the stock rack and then some sort of key or hinged point to fully lock the case down.

Not strictly on topic, but for what it's worth,  I have a 50L Givi topbox with integral LED high level stop lights.  The Givi has their own-brand very effective quick-release and locking mechanism which is very strong.  I use a Givi universal mounting plate adapter (below) which uses the bolts supplied to fasten it to the rack then the box just locks on.

Other people sell them,  this was just the first Goggle threw up.  The box locates in the two lugs at the back  then locks down on the single lug at the front.  Don't worry about it being nylon; it's strong - I carry all my camping gear ok.  I have the same setup on my Blackbird thus allowing me to swap around.

Here's mine:
