Any good reason I couldn't replce my existing clamps with these:


 and fit on some fat bars like the Renthal CR High bend fat bars?

I know I can use an adapter to let me fit a fat bar, but that seems like a kludge, especially when the above claps can be had for $35.

the CR High Bend bars are not tall enuff to clear things
you still need to add some height if you go with those clamps
An ATV bend for handlebars works better , and if you can get some phat bars in an atv bend you could use those fat bar clamps .

These are a CR high Bend by Pro taper in a SE (7/8ths ) BAR
I have them raised about an 1 3/8ths and they could stand to be a little taller still

the pro tapers look about the same height as the stock clamps.  Any idea what bend is closest to the stock bend on the steamer, at least height wise?
