EB well chosen for the amount of time you spend scouring Ebay   shouldn't wind you up too much, it's been a great help to some guys. Any chance you can find me a 675 Street engine for less 1k?
I used to have long hair, took acid and went to hip joints. Now I long for hair, take antacid and need a new hip joint

macgart I think IT and plumbing are probably closely related, but then that's just me.

Seems we have a majority of engineers at least on this thread? I was just curious.
Mostly commuting around town on the Steamer these days.

Bixxer Bob

I'm manager of forty-odd military comms / IT installation specialists ... until the end of next week anyway.  Then I'm hoping for a good summer in which to get used to retirement!!!

How I ended up in IT I can't quite explain as I'm time-served as a machine tool setter/operator with additional experience in heavy drive gear systems, liquid cooling systems and air conditioning.  Oh, and aircraft arrestor systems (cables and nets).

Bob, does that make you an engineer AND an IT guy?
Is it really an adventure bike if its wheels never see dirt?

gazoo

Network Engineer and manager of an IT Operations team.  23 years - I'm tired of it!   :D

flaco

Well, I'm a drama teacher and playwright. I reckon playwrighting's a bit like plumbing, too. I haven't looked inside an engine since I took the cylinder head off my Francis-Barnett 175 in 1963.

Oh yeah, plumbing... some days I feel like Norton from the Honeymooners.   :D

I may be returning to law enforcement soon since the construction biz is in the toilet these days.
