Tigger engine replacements

Some time ago I said I'd post up some shots of my Daytona engine in situ:

Engine mounts look to be in the same place, tape measure accuracy notwithstanding the measurements appear to be identical, although the Daytona's head is not as bulky ( not a bad thing).

In addition the bike wrecker I bought some bits from recently says he has performed an engine swap between a Daytona and Sprint, so it looks like this swap may be possible! Although I don't really want 150 horses trying to climb a rough gravel washboard hill......

heard of it being done before, I think the shifter ends up beign reversed thats about it...

You can see from the pix that the gear box would be reversed, because the footpeg is in a different location so the shifter faces the rear on the Daytona (trophy). On the Tiger it faces forward.
