UPDATE ON STRETCH

Got a nice update for everyone on the Stretch Man

I'm doing just fine, thanks for asking.  I've been back at work for a
couple months now, been back at Tae Kwon Do for about the same amount
of time.  I'm all healed up, but with a bit of a stoop from the two
collapsed vertebrae.  But what's a little deformity between friends?

I've given up bikes, I'm afraid.  I can't go through this again.  So
my ADV wanderlust is now directed at Jeeps, my four wheeled ADV
mo-sheen.  Now I'm surrounded by American steel, big bumpers, and a
roll cage.  I've had a 2001 Wrangler for a few years now, so with the
insurance settlement, I can doll her up nicely.  GEICO rocks (other
driver was uninsured, so mine took over nicely).

I still have a few Tiger and misc bike items to get rid of, so I'll be
posting some stuff for sale on TigerTriple before too long.  See you
then.

right on, glad he's doing well. it must be in the cards - on the ride into work tonight i was wondering how he was doing, and thought about shooting him a pm, but was'nt sure if he still was on the site. thanks for the update mustang. 8)

Yeah Mustang, that's good news.  It's a pity we can't tempt the big guy back to bikes but after a big spill it's totally understandable.

Yeah, I think of Stretch often tooo.

Would love to have some tiger bits from his garage. Like his spare set of RR. etc.

I could see doing the jeep thing.....always wanted to go spend a week on the mountain roads in colorado

Wow, collapsed vertebrae. That's really awful. Sorry to hear about that, Stretch. Thanks for posting this, Mustang.

Funny my nephew (early 30's) quit racing his jeeps in the Rubicon Pass area because he had a really bad roll over (ended up trapped inside the roll cage). Now he rides motorcycles. Go figure.

Tell Stretch to visit Euro Imports.  Not for north east of Atlanta (Stretch is in Atlanta area right?).

Sean will set him straight.   :P   While I loved my Yeep.... What Sean can get him there will go anywhere a Yeep will go and further.... BEFORE modifications thus... in the long run.. save him money.

Sorry to have lost a Tigger rider to yet another road idiot. Glad Stretch is healed & on to other recreational pursuits. Jeeps are good - i migrated to bikes from them. Ebb & flow / yin yang thing I guess. Good luck to ya Stretch! - thanks for the update Mustang.
