Head lights acting up?

Funny that this thread should come up now. My Hi-beam relay gave up the ghost too. One of the terminals had completely rusted through. Apart from 2 new spare bulbs I now have I had a real runaround trying to find a 4 pin relay to fit. Could only find a 5 pin of the same config. Checked it, yes 85 to 86 check, 30 to 87 check. Damn thing wouldn't work. Spent a couple of hours tracing a wiring fault until I ended back at the relay....mmmm... Turns out the pin config is different on 5 pins. Swapped the wires in the female connector around and hey presto. I'm such a Dunce :D
