Thread & size oil filler cap T400

Anyone know the threadsize of the oil filler cap of the T400 motor?
I would like to replace this with a oil temp direct gauge.

Somewhere I read the diameter x thread could be 35x3 and the length 180mm.

Did you end up finding the thread specification and make up a temp gauge?

No, the gauges that are sold do not fit properly (too short don't reach the oil level). The right ones for steamers (T300 engines) aren't available anymore which is a pitty.

Dimensions are right though.
