Right Ive stripped down the front end, wheel & fork legs gone for powder coat head bearings on way & fork seals, but no oil yet.
I belive stock is 10 grade but Im considering putting 15 in instead to try & steady the dive off a bit what do you recomend & where would be best to get it from & how much oil do I need my manual says 720cc.
Its an 05 cast wheel tiger.
Cheers Malc
its grrreaaattttttttt

The fork thing is a personnel trial and error thing,15wt will without doubt cut the dive by some margin, you will also loose the feel and have a loss of response over small bumps etc, although you'll get some of that back over a lengthy ride or a warm day, just a case of tinkering.

To a degree thats also the same with quantity,i've not seen a posting about increasing or decreasing for that matter, and of course there are also aftermarket springs.

I went with 15wt on my 885 and it's lovely. What Chris says is true, but they are woefully underdamped to start with, as time goes on they get worse too. Put 15 in and enjoy, I used the factory settings for quatity.
