That's really cheap for snap-on and they look like good items. The only extractors I've tried are long & tapered and have a coarse fast LH thread. They're the ones that break.

I'm still using the Snap-On 1/2" ratchet I bought in the late 70s and it's perfect apart from being scratched & scuffed, despite much misuse.
