Interesting start to yesterday's race.  It was a gate start rather than sending off one at a time.  They were starting them in waves of 20 riders 10 mins apart.  The first group went off, the leader made a navigation mistake and the others followed for about 20k before turning back.  They met the second 20 coming the other way and stopped for a chat about which was the right route when the third wave caught them up, hence those lucky enough to be in the third wave got 20 mins on the leaders for free!!
