Parts Source other than factory?

Is there a source of valves, valve springs, etc other than the factory for a Steamer?  Anyone know whether the valve train components (and other motor components like rods, pistons and rings) are unique to Triumph or are they copies of components used in bikes built buy other manufacturers?  Just wondering.  Thanks.

There are a lot of copies, but I have no where near all of them figured out. A lot of things look like they are copies from elsewhere but they aren't. Like the cases are striking like late 80's Kawasaki Concourse or the ZX-10 but they are actually mirror image copies in some way. Check out the parts interchange list here.
