A little dual sport jaunt some friends and took yesterday.  87 miles with probably 65 of it completely off road.  Lots of FUN!  Doing what Tigers do!

It was a rough go for a big bike, but it was doable.  I need to learn "big bike" riding skills better.

The WFO part is the scary part!  But is FUN!  just scared of crashing on a big bike.  Cant be breaking stuff on Tigger now!  Being the rare breed it is......

Well I dont know if "keeping up" is the right choice of words,  but me and the guy on the KLR stayed together.  On our rides like this we always buddy up.  The others were always waiting for us but not to long.  I think the biggest issue is that I dont push my bike that hard for a couple of reasons:

1) ITS FREAKIN' HUGE! and is alot to handle when it gets squirrly.

2) Im not as good a rider as the others yet.

I more or less plug along and keep it under control most of the time.... :ImaPoser

Again, glad to see you out putting the '98 through its paces. It NEVER got even remotely that dirty in the ~7 yrs I owned it.  And it looks good with the proper tires on it too... Keep up the good work!

This is at the top of a very difficult rocky section, I had dropped the bike probably 2 times, she's a beast when you're not on throttle!  Something I need to get use to doing.....
