Bad fuel gage on a new 04.

I have a new tiger 04 and after 3,000 miles in two months my fuel gage stopped working and the low fuel light is always on now.  Has anyone been able to get this problem resolved?  I was reading other problems people have had but did not see if the problem ever went away or if I just have to use my trip meter from now on instead of the crappy fuel gage.

Yea. I had the same problem on my 04. Dealer will replace the float mech in the tank. Small job. Try and bring it in without much gas in the tank. They'll like you better for it.
