As the headline says,  where do you order your stuff from?
Links to on-line shops where we can find all the good stuff for our Steamers etc etc.

I´m in need of ignition leads for my -98 Steamer.
Or at least the no 1 cylinder lead.

Thanks for inputs.

Is there motorcycle salvage /junkyards near you any plug lead should work or be able to be made workable ...........having said that , BIKE BANDIT.com or on one of my steamers I have Nology HOTWIRES .........mmmmmmm, nice !

Amazon.com has these for three bucks you could repair your buggered one ,must be somewhere in Sweden sells the same .

http://www.amazon.com/NGK-SPARK-PLUG-CA ... 24&sr=1-24 (http://www.amazon.com/NGK-SPARK-PLUG-CAP/dp/B000WO59U0/ref=sr_1_24?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1311013124&sr=1-24)

they are NGK plug caps

Persson

Allrajjti!

That´s the ticket!
And this one will be long enough to reach all the way down to the sparkplug?
Thats my concern, I was looking at car leads i have in my garage, but they would never reach that far down.

You wouldn´t happen to know wich vehicle those NGK caps are meant for originally?

But it should be possible to strip the rubber boot that goes over the spark plug cap, and heel it over the replacement NGK cap?

Thanks man!

Not cheap but they ship fast.

Other than that Jack Lilley, http://www.jacklilley.com/ (http://www.jacklilley.com/) in England. They don't have so much on the web site for the steamer but if you call they have excellent customer service and will help you find what you need.

Thankx "Pompeylad"

Yep, Triumph knows how to charge unfortunately..
I called Triumph Stockholm, they wanted 1200 SEK=190$ for a set of 3 leads.

However, I found this site in UK, there must be something useful here?
http://www.gsparkplug.com/shop/ (http://www.gsparkplug.com/shop/)

Perhaps this one?
http://www.gsparkplug.com/shop/ngk-sb05e-blac.html (http://www.gsparkplug.com/shop/ngk-sb05e-blac.html)

It says "Nut Terminal ",but theres also
"Screw Terminal". Wich one to choose?

There are other ones aswell:
http://www.gsparkplug.com/shop/spark-plugs.html?p=7 (http://www.gsparkplug.com/shop/spark-plugs.html?p=7)

Same here, screw or nut terminal?

What´s the prescription ?

I would venture that this is the one you want

http://www.gsparkplug.com/shop/spark-pl ... -blac.html (http://www.gsparkplug.com/shop/spark-plugs/spark-plug-caps/ngk-sb05f-blac.html)
but why not give them a call to verify .............
it may or may not fit in the sparkplug well of the head

Persson

Yes, I agree, that one seems to be whithin specs.
-Found this sub-site wich holds all measurements:

http://www.ngk.se/templates/ngkPage.aspx?id=216 (http://www.ngk.se/templates/ngkPage.aspx?id=216)

So it looks the part.

Thanx Mustang

I'll buy all kinds of stuff from all over the web but when it comes to original parts that need replacing I buy them with Trev. He knows his stuff and has a lot on the shelf for fair prices, fast delivery and good packaging.......checkit:

Oh, and he also accepts PP.
