Dave , just something I realised when I did mine.

Try and get the front of the bike up a bit before you turn off and let it stand.
As the engine is tilted forward a bit, oil tends to pool right at the front of the head and can drip down the front onto the downpipes etc when you remove the cambox cover.

   I just remembered, i've made a note to self for next time i do mine but i was thinkin of leanin the bike over to the right as far as i dare so the oil runs down the cam chain gap

original air filter is orange, K & N black

Shim / valve clearances check no probs. plugs and airfilter sorted, just got to drop the oil and job done, total cost £80-£85
it sounds sweet again.

had a slight problem with the oil filter stuck on very tight, all sorted now.
