Good council Adv'.  I agree with the engine guard theory - got mine primarily for when I neglect to put the kickstand down at the gas station. However, saw a picture of our Touratechs where the Tigger got tired & laid down @ 50mph on pavement - bars ground down pretty good, but no damage to the Girly. Pretty impressive. Looking forward to the vicarious outback adventure. Almost 6k mi - thats a good poke! TTFN, j
