what are the rubber circles on the rear mudguard by the number plate (but on the sides not the back by the plate)

Are they bungee hook points?

Anyone use them for anything?

Are they not for the panniers?,to help stop them banging around :roll:

Chairhead is right, they are where the factory panniers rest.
