Mefo Tires

Just checked with Mefo and they do not make,at this time, tires to fit the tiger  If anyone runs smaller bikes this is a great dual sport tire

Good catch. I've asked moderator here to change me, but no action. The secrets's out, rbike's an imposter.    Or at least an old handle from 3 years ago when I almost bought a Tiger.

PM out to you, rbike.  (or whoever you are...) :-$

Wow, plenty of Georgia Tigers here....

I know of 4 on this list....any of you go to the Triumph meets?

Stretch

I can't come to the Ride-In this year, and was Tiggerless (and clueless) last year.

If there's something going on semi-locally after Independence Day, I might could make it.

I was thinking of a meet up at Dales or TWO and getting some Tigers ready for a run at the Coopers Creek fireroads. Nothing too far or dramatic.

WIDGIN

Sounds good, I'd be up for it.   (Certainly don't plan on being down again on the Tiger for a few more trips )

I was going to try and go this Sunday...mid morning after the hardcore corner junkies have gotten all the Lumpkin cops tired out?

Stretch

That's Mother's Day, you know...

burntclutch

oh crap...

good point. I probably have a special breakfast to cook on Sunday.

Saturday? or push to next week? I am planning on one day this weekend just because it's been so long since I have been up there.

WIDGIN

My vote's for next Sunday.  Already have afternoon plans this Saturday and going this Sunday would put me under the doghouse.

You guys are welcome to head up to Hot Springs NC next weekend (18th-20th). I am heading up there for the ADV Eastern Rendevous, leaving the cartersville/calhoun area around noon or so. Widgin, I don't know if I will put the TKC's on the tiger or not, it depends on what kind of mileage I get from the anakees. Whatever tire you put on there, for me the tiger will still be limited to the FS roads simply because of it's height and weight. Atleast the weestrom was lower so I felt more planted when I came to a stop but all of that aside, the tiger is the cat's meow (no pun intended). The wife informed me that in the 4 1/2 years we've been married, I've had 9 bikes, 8 of which were dualsport or adventure type bikes and the tiger grabs at my soul like none of the others. I like it so much that I am selling my Nissan Xterra and going back to riding year round. Anytime you guys want to get together, shoot me a pm and I am usually able to ride on most weekends. Would be nice to get with other tiger owners.
