just a heads up for those who might need one, bikebandit.com has the haynes manual for our early triumphs on sale. 8)

And I have to say that while every other Haynes manual I have bought has been crap, the Steamer manual is pretty damn good.

The Haynes one for the Girly isn't that helpful, when I lost the anti rattle spring out of the rear caliper the other day, all it said was,"note which way this goes for re assembly", great! It left at about eighty across the other side of the garage, I never saw how it came out, still it went back OK in the end  :roll:
