Output seal leaking

My trans output seal has started leaking. I assume it is a result of a too tight chain, (recent tire replacement). I'm now looking to replace chain and sprockets and likely the output bearing and seal. Anyone tackle this repair recently? It's and '05 Girly at 35,000 k
