Oke, I'll start it off.  For my 855i so far:

Installed battery bug
Two direct hookup fused accessory plugs (heavy gauge wire).
Turned eccentric to lower.
Ordered tank guards.

Here we go.  First, kickstand.  With the rear axle eccentric flipped and front forks dropped 18mm, the kickstand is no longer at a good angle.  Here's my bit on 'how to circumcise your stand'.  First, pics of the flipped eccentric and lowered tripletree:

Remove stand (duh).  Cut desired amount (for me, I did 1 inch).

Then, a test tack weld to make sure the 'foot' is still oriented properly.  Mine wasn't.

Now the final welding.  Since it's clean metal, I used an AC arc, and 125 - 130 amp gives good penetration.  Any higher blows holes.  Grind, sand, paint.

Bike now sits nicely:

Cut about 1" off of the hose at the top (after removing from airbox).

Use a standard automotive oil breather:

Now, I routed mine to near the fuel filter, since there is lots of airspace behind that panel.   I also added a weather resistant K&N cover (used for cone filters), to keep it dry.

Then a simple cap for the air box connection.

Now I can happily tip my Tiger without risking hydrolock and associated damage.

My favorite mods are as follows:

2007 Roadie clutch perch w/Pazzo levers.
MSR brush-buster hand guards.
ROX 2" handlebar risers.
Remus Revolution exhaust.
dropped front forks 1/2 inch above trees.
15w fork oil at stock volume.
100% street sport/touring tires... No more dualsport rubber for me thanks.
5-way selectable heated.grips.

Soon to do mods:
Some form of fork brace to link the lower tubes.
tank guards
works rear shock
progressive front springs

The side stand mod scared me half to death, just take the plate off the bottom and trim to the desired length with no joints.

Best mod?? a 17" front wheel welcome to the 21st century

Trust me, that weld is the strongest part of the side stand now.   If the stand breaks it'll be where the other Girly stands have broken...up at the pivot.

+1 on the stand mod Chris, then just reshape the hook. Made my foot twice the area while I was there, just in case.
