... a home mechanic makes when the head of a Tiger's clutch spring bolt shears off, leaving the shank in the clutch centre?

Well, you might have found out, about half an hour ago.

Fortunately, some slow, careful work with a fine punch and hammer allowed me to work it out. Phew. What's the betting my local dealer will have to order a set in. Mind you, here in the UK, dealers seem to get next day delivery from Triumph for special orders.
