Been doing some digging today, blimey Triumph do a good job of keeping their cards close too their chest,it does exist but anything more than that phewww.

So what is meant by Sport Tiger Chris?  A big  1200 XC? Or a 1200 version of the 1050? Or a road version (standard naked) of the 800?

So belongs in the Roadie section?

To be honest it passed me by but it looks like a naked Sprint.

Doesn't belong anywhere till it officially exists, just bike talk, and when it does it'll be a different animal because my guess it'll come with a 130hp motor to match the Multistrada so it won't be sharing many parts with the 1050 Tiger as you can see by the photo, but that is only a test mule,so it could be even different from that if Triumph have a rush of blood to the head like they did with Explorer.

The only major down side, the guy I was talking too wasn't sure about suspension,he was amused when he mentioned electric and the blood drained out of my face, they can stick that stuff were the sun don't shine.

In seeing this post, the images from the article looked a lot like the 2012 SE I sat on at MCC in Chicago last week...... I wish they had showroom images.....

:thumbsup finally got just about everything I wished it had from new, except the extra power, it doesn't really need that :pimp looks to be positioned closer to where the old ST Sprint was.
I used to have long hair, took acid and went to hip joints. Now I long for hair, take antacid and need a new hip joint

I'll be interested in a test ride thats for sure, exactly how quick it is will be is the acid test,my 955 is as quick as a stock 1050,but on Italian motorways I was near the limit on the old 955,in fact I came up against a few turbo diesel cars that I couldn't hang on.

Not wrong there. I was left standing by one of those V10 Toureg things. Kin'ell that thing flew.

I like the look of that new Tiger1050Sport. If I were to give up dirt roads that would be high on my list.

That V10 is engineering porn, the W12 even more so. Wouldn't even try keeping up with either.
