Hi guys,

I just know many of you have sorted this at some point.

My British flag badges are curling up off the fairing on my black Steamer.

If I was to pull them off what preparation would you suggest and which glue to ensure they hold back in place nicely?

Cheers,

I walked straight in to that !!

Ok so you mean something like Areldite?

Some how I don't see it working as they'll peel up and go flat again before the epoxy adheres?

You could try contact cement as an alternative. At least that way you know that when you push the decal down it will stay put.

Clean the surface with surgical spirit (gently), warm (no hairdryer) the flag and surface and use a clamp with a small piece of wood until it cures.
I used to have long hair, took acid and went to hip joints. Now I long for hair, take antacid and need a new hip joint
