I see someone has beat me to it and put up my post from another site.

I had heard of this happening before, but never noticed it till now

Any others had this happen?

Only use is summer hols in europe every year, and not offroad either.

Saw that over at 'the other place'..    looks nasty - have you had the bike from new? just wondered if its been down the road at some point which might've started the  crack?

They've been there long enough to rust.  That's like ten minutes in England, right?

Where are they on the frame?
From parts unknown.

Sorry to see that, looks a bit unhealthy. You may want to look at this on ebay uk
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Triumph-Tiger-885 ... 518fd37a03 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Triumph-Tiger-885-Mint-frame-with-full-logbook-reg-no_W0QQitemZ350305352195QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motorcycle_Parts?hash=item518fd37a03)
Looks like it might be "bite the bullet time"

Can't understand that, the stresses are all opposite to the crack, would have to have had a serious front ender or been hanging upside down to do that on the frame top  :?
I used to have long hair, took acid and went to hip joints. Now I long for hair, take antacid and need a new hip joint

Cracks thru the welds???  No sign of bending, looks more like a shear???  I'm no engineer but could a severe front end landing (perhaps many) cause this??  Of course there's no more info on this site than the pictures, don't know how its been ridden.....
