Ditto what Mat said, also BBQ`s aint so good if its pishing down.

Quite. I'd much rather go to a decent pub with Real Ale on the bar. So like Mat wrote; book it if it needs booking.

Well, there's a group meeting at Lymm services at 10~10:30am. Then we're riding up to and through Slaidburn and onto your route. My planner reckons we'll passing through Slaidburn around 11:45, getting to Mainsgill at 13:30. If you want to wait for us at the Hark to the Bounty.................................

It looks like you chaps are going to have FAR TOO MUCH fun. Sorry that those of us on this side of the pond cannot join you. Take lots of pics, and don't be shy, let us know who you actually are and what you look like. Please.

You might actually regret saying that Nick, especially after we all hit the pub!  :occasion14 :rfl
All the best, Mat-tiger1. 👍

According to google, my fri route is 2hrs 40. In which case we'd be looking st leaving by about 10.30. Are you looking at a shorter route than this?

No, almost the same route. My route goes across to Helwith Bridge. Apart from that it's the same.
Haggs Bank isn't too far from Mainsgill farm so I think 13:30 arrival there is fine. An hour or so for some scram and it ain't going to take more than 3 hours to Haggs Bank regardless of route.

P.S. don't forget to call into the Wensleydale creamery in Hawes to get your weekend's supply of cheese.

OK,
It was the time between Slaidburn and Mainsgill I was questioning. If your at Slaidburn for 11.45 we wouldn't be at Mainsgill until about half 2.

I was thinking to meet at Mainsgil for 13:00-13:30. If people are tired you can get to Haggsbank in 45-60 mins easily. I was thinking of a more "scenic" route, so yes 2-3 hours will cover it.
Has anyone NOT been to Hartside pass before, if not I will tag it on as if you have never done it ,  it is a treat to ride.
It\'s ok , this will only take 5 minutes.

Howard,
going on Geoff's 13.00-13.30 at Mainsgill, we'd be looking to leave Slaidburn by about 10.30.

No worries, not really knowing the area/roads well, we'd rather take things gentler and not be clock watching.

I had a ride around some of the route for Friday today. The camels are sheltering at Mainsgill , keeping out of the rain, and the rain makes the fords..............interesting.
It\'s ok , this will only take 5 minutes.
